The Procrastinator Strikes!
So, I took the day off today to take care of a few things and to get my head on straight. The last few weeks have been difficult to say the least. Perhaps that's why I decided to take a few hours today and put together another Doctor Who video; this one features The Master.
Enjoy!

I haven't paid much attention to my YouTube videos in quite awhile. So, I was pretty surprised to see that my Capt Jack video not only topped 1,000 views, but it's already up to 1,155! And it has 11 ratings of 4-5 stars. :-)
I know it's silly to be pleased by these little things, especially since it's only a fan video. However, the idea that maybe, just maybe, I introduced someone to Capt Jack and Doctor Who makes me happy.
Long Live Doctor Who!

Here's a much better quality video of the Doctor Who Holiday fan video that I made. The other version was way too grainy. This one looks 100% better!
Cheers!

In case you're interested, here's the Children in Need mini Doctor Who special "Time Crash". Enjoy!
Recently, jenwrites brought up some very good points about the new Master as compared to the old Master on Doctor Who. In the previous incarnations of the Doctor Who series, the Master has been a character of great intelligence and cunning. He is a calculating man who knows exactly what he wants and stops at nothing to achieve it. However, the primary difference between the old and new Masters is the new element of buffoonery in the Master's character.
Is this a symptom of our society's need to revise history to a more palatable flavor?

As if I didn't have enough to distract me from my work, the new Doctor Who Season 3 DVDs arrived yesterday.

One of the best features of the new Doctor Who is the constant evolution of the series. Every season is different and every season stands on its own with new twists and turns that are as likely to make you laugh as to rip your heart out.
What I love most about the series is the brilliant creativity of the writers, good acting, and beautiful musical scores. As with any series, some shows are more exciting than others, but each show builds upon the last moving the Doctor closer and closer to the seasons' climax. Usually by the 4th show in each season, the new characters are well established and hints of the climax begin to emerge, and you will be hooked.
In the first season, the ninth doctor effectively dies and regenerates into the 10th doctor. At the end of the second season, the Doctor and Rose are separated forever. Then, at the end of the third season, the Master dies, leaving the Doctor more alone than he has ever felt before. The end of each season is more dramatic and poignant than the last, but where will it go next?
This show will capture your imagination. If you haven't watched it yet, go rent it from Netflix and then let me know what you think of it. For those of you who have already seen it, let me know how you feel about it.

Yes, I've gone and made another Doctor Who tribute video. It's a lot of fun. I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed making it.
Without further ado, and by special request, here is my tribute to Captain Jack Harkness on you tube.
Enjoy!

So, instead of writing like I should have today (please don't tell Jim Kelly), I spent the day making my first ever fan video for the tv show Doctor Who. Here's the URL if you want to check it out.
Not only is this my first ever fan video, it's also my first ever video. I put it together with some clips from the
Doctor Who TV show, and set it to the music of Doctor My Eyes by Jackson Brown. It's a little rough in spots and I think I could have done something different with the compression of the video to make it runs a little
smoother. But hey! I'm just learning, right?
I hope you enjoy it even if you don't know who Doctor Who.

I liked this Doctor Who skit so much that I had to share it with you. It's a skit with David Tennant and Catherine Tate.
